Gerlie started with mid-back length hair. She had her ponytail cut off with clippers into a short bob with buzzed nape. The ponytail is saved for the sponsor. Then, her hair is shaved off, leaving behind the bangs which is cut to eyebrow length; a Chelsea style. Then, Gerlie shaved off her bangs herself. Finally, the stylist applies shaving cream on Gerlie's head and shaved the head smooth with a razor. Shaving is done twice and then the bald head is oiled to make it shiny.
